Playa Coco is a small development of luxury townhomes on Playa el Coco (Coco Beach). The development consists of 4 buildings, each with 5 units.
The development has secure, paved parking, a pool, a beach shower, sidewalks, satellite TV, wireless internet, cell phone service, landscaping, and 24 hour security. It was built respecting the natural scenery and most of original trees and plants were left in place.

The beach itself is a beautiful, wide stretch of white sand which gradually slopes down into the water. It is an excellent beach for swimming and relaxing and a good beach for "boogie boarding". Because the beach is so gradual, it is great for kids. The waves vary, but tend to break far from shore when they are high. Coco beach is not a spectacular surf beach (there are some very good ones in Nicaragua), but some people do surf and it would probably be a decent place to learn the basics. The tides can be quite dramatic at different times of the year, in fact the difference between high and low tide can sometimes mean as much as 50 m of beach.
